Good communication skills are critical to a child's social-emotional development, school readiness and educational success. Speech and language therapy is based on the child's specific strengths and needs as determined by an in-depth evaluation or the child's current individualized education plan (IEP)/individualized family service plan (IFSP). Treatment incorporates methodologies based on latest research and evidence-based practice.
